Privacy Policy
Draft. This text was written to describe how the site works and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The owner should review it with counsel before relying on it.
This policy explains what Wuz Thr Presidential Moments collects about you, why, where it is kept, who else handles it, and how you can delete it. The short version: we keep your photo privately until you delete it, we send it to an image model to make your pictures, we keep the contact details you give us, and we only market to you if you tick the box.
What we collect
The photo you give us, and the pictures we make from it. A phone number, if you give one to open more scenes. An email address, if you give one to open the last scenes or to sign in. Whether you ticked the marketing box for texts or emails, and the wording you agreed to. Your cart and, if you buy something, your order and shipping details. We also record successful steps in the service, such as confirming or generating a photo, opening a scene tier, verifying an account, adding a product to the cart, paying for an order, or deleting photos, together with when the step happened and the relevant scene, edition, product, rung or order identifier. Technical records that any website keeps include your IP address, browser, the pages you open, and errors.
We do not ask for your name, date of birth, or payment details. Payment is taken by Shopify on its own pages.
How we use it
Your photo is used to make your pictures and for nothing else. Your phone number and email address are used to open the scenes you asked for, to send a sign-in link when you ask for one, to attach your order to you, and — only if you opted in — to send you offers. Activity records let us understand which parts of the service you completed and trigger relevant follow-up in HubSpot; a follow-up that markets to you is sent only if you opted in. Technical records are used to keep the site working and to find faults.
Where it is kept
Your photo and the pictures made from it are stored as private files in Vercel Blob storage. They have no public address; the site streams them only to the browser that holds your account cookie or has signed in with your email. Your account, contact details, activity history and the index of your files are kept in a Postgres database hosted by Neon. HubSpot receives activity counts, latest dates and relevant identifiers on your contact record so that workflows can respond to those steps. These providers run on infrastructure in the United States.
Who else handles it
Your photo is sent to a third-party image-generation model (currently a Google Gemini model, reached through Vercel's AI Gateway) to make each picture. The provider processes the photo to produce the picture and returns it to us. We do not permit the provider to use your photo to train its models where the provider offers that choice.
Vercel hosts the site. Neon hosts the database. Resend sends the sign-in email. HubSpot holds your contact details, marketing consent and the activity summary used by our workflows. Shopify holds your cart, your order and your payment. If we have configured analytics, Google Tag Manager may set cookies and record page views. Each of these companies handles your data under its own privacy policy and our agreement with it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Marketing consent
When you give us a phone number or an email address, a ticked box asks whether we may send you offers. The box is ticked by default and you can untick it; opening the scenes does not depend on it. Your answer, and the text you agreed to, are recorded in HubSpot. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, by using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by writing to hey@wuzthr.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect your photos or your account.
How long we keep it
Your photo and pictures are kept until you delete them. There is no automatic expiry. "Delete my photos" on the "My photos" screen removes every image we hold of you and signs this browser out; the account record and activity history stay so you can sign in again and so we retain an accurate record of completed steps. Contact details and activity summaries held in HubSpot, and orders held in Shopify, are kept until you ask us to remove them; write to hey@wuzthr.com and we will delete what the law allows us to delete. Order records may be kept for as long as tax and consumer law require.
Cookies
The site sets a session cookie that identifies your account, and a cart cookie that identifies your Shopify cart. Both are needed for the site to work and neither is used for advertising. If analytics is configured, Google Tag Manager may set its own cookies; you can block those in your browser without losing anything on this site.
Your rights
You can see your pictures on the "My photos" screen, delete them there, and withdraw marketing consent as described above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. Write to hey@wuzthr.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent or guardian may upload a photo of their own child to order a product for them. If you believe a child has used the site on their own, write to hey@wuzthr.com and we will delete what we hold.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top says when it last changed. If a change affects how we use your photo or your contact details, we will say so on the site before it takes effect.
